The tape
What is Wow Gaffer Tape made of?
A cloth backing with a PE coating and a natural rubber adhesive. Each roll is 2 inches wide, 50 yards long and 11.8 mil thick, with 36 lb/in tensile strength.
Will it leave residue?
On most finished surfaces, no. The natural rubber adhesive is made to release cleanly. For long installs, hot environments or delicate finishes like fresh paint and wallpaper, test a small piece first and remove it within a few days.
What is the difference between gaffer tape and duct tape?
Gaffer tape has a cloth backing with a matte finish and an adhesive made for clean removal. Duct tape usually has a shiny plastic face and an adhesive that often leaves residue. Use gaffer tape for anything temporary.
Why natural rubber adhesive?
Natural rubber stays flexible, grips rough surfaces like carpet and concrete, and lets go cleanly. Hot-melt and synthetic adhesives are cheaper to make but can soften under heat and leave residue.
Is it hand tearable?
Yes. The cloth tears straight across by hand, so you do not need scissors on set.
What temperatures can it handle?
It is rated from -31°F to 176°F (-35°C to 80°C).
Black or white?
Black disappears on stage, in shadow and on camera. White is easy to see and write on, so it suits marking, labeling and light backdrops.
Can I write on it?
Yes. The matte cloth takes permanent marker, which is why white gaffer tape is popular for labels, cable IDs and spike marks.
How long is each roll?
50 yards (150 feet), 67% more than a standard 30-yard gaffer roll.
Buying on Amazon
Where do I buy single rolls and packs?
On Amazon. Packs of 1, 2 and 6 rolls, and up to 5 cases of 24, are sold through our Amazon store with Prime delivery and Amazon returns.
Why do you sell through Amazon?
It gives you fast Prime delivery, a checkout you already trust and simple returns. It also means every rating you see is from a verified Amazon buyer.
Business orders
What is the minimum for business pricing?
6 cases of 24 rolls. Black and white cases count together, and the price per roll drops at 51 and 201 cases.
How do I see business prices?
Apply for a business account on our wholesale page. We review every application within 1 business day. Once approved, you see your price per roll and can order online.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer. After you order, we email your invoice with the freight quote. You pay by ACH or wire to our Chase business account, held in our legal company name, N&L Unique Solutions LLC (D-U-N-S 11-935-6125). Your order ships once payment clears.
How is freight charged?
Business orders ship from our US warehouse by freight carrier, not through Amazon Prime. We quote freight before shipment based on your delivery address and site (dock, liftgate or your own pickup).
Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is waived when you provide a valid resale certificate. Add it at checkout or in your account application.
Distributors
Can I resell Wow Tapes?
Yes, as an authorized distributor. Apply on our distributor page and our team will review your business and sales channels.
Do you have a minimum advertised price?
Yes. Authorized resellers follow our MAP policy, so partners compete on service rather than price cuts. We share the full policy with approved distributors.
